G.O.L.E.M

A game where you play as golems, animated anthropomorphic beings in Jewish folklore. The author has included the background on the golem myth, and I love how Hebrew is incorporated into the game terminology. In this game, you play as golems that defend the Jewish population in Czechoslovakia during the Nazi occupation. I have recently visited the synagogues in Prague, which now serve as museums of Jewish culture, as well as memorials to the lives that have lost during the Holocaust. I admire the author's attempt to bring light and hope into the dark history via fantasy and escapism.
